We had never heard of a Parent Coach before we started this journey with our daughter. Finding the right resource for our daughter was hard…but finding a resource for us was not even a thought. We struggled desperately to say the right thing and do the right thing for our daughter.

We learned very quickly that not only did our daughter need some resources, but we did too! Having the chance to work with a Parent Coach was different and refreshing. Another parent at our daughter’s new school highly recommended Sue as an exceptional resource. We are so glad that we were introduced to her. Sue has truly been a life line for us. Sue has been where we have been, and offers ways a parent can frame a situation to move forward in a positive way. We have learned “what we focus on grows” and have trained ourselves to see the good things to love and nurture in each of our children. Anyone with a struggling child, needing to learn how to manage their own expectations to help a child move in a positive direction, is looking in the right place.

Sue has been a wonderful resource and please know she is able to bring a light of clarity in troubled times.

When I first got in touch with Sue, I didn’t think she could really help with what I was going through with my family. We had a lot of problems with communication and I could not see a solution in my future.

We met and discussed my situation and ways to incorporate new ideas. I looked forward to meeting Sue each week to discuss how things were progressing and what I could do to make my dream of better communication with my family become a reality. Positive reinforcement and better listening skills were some of the things that helped. It was amazing to see the transformation of our family and how we communicate.

She really helped me a lot and I can’t thank her enough.

Sue was instrumental in helping me with my son. He is particularly intelligent, creative, and determined. He likes to do things his way and my husband and I have had great difficulty trying to figure out how to get him to comply with our rules.

He is six years old and we have been pretty much mystified about how to reach him since he was three. We have been working on this and trying to approach the issue from different angles for literally half of his life. But, in three short months, through my work with Sue, I was able to figure out ways to get him to comply with our house rules in ways that made him feel motivated to comply without really feeling like he was complying. Through Sue’s listening skills and excellent questions, I was able to realize that I need to present things to my determined little guy as a challenge. Since that discovery, we have been able to get him to comply with all sorts of things that he did not used to comply with, such as eating only in the kitchen, not leaving food trash all over the house, etc. Sue has been a lifesaver to us. I love my little boy more than anything, but I was growing increasingly frustrated with my inability to reach him.

Now, just three short months later, I feel as if my family has been given a new lease on our relationships. We are enjoying each other more and I am so grateful for my son’s compliance. I cannot thank Sue enough for all she has done for me and my family.

With my children attending school full days, I felt overwhelmed by a strong desire to re-enter the work force in a way that would create an outlet for my creative talents.

Sue, with her compassionate wisdom helped guide me through worries of neglecting my family, doubts about my professional self and confusion where to start. She helped me to become grounded in my strengths, while creating a clear picture of my ideal, in all aspects of my life. With Sue’s support, I began to create that life, one step at a time on a path that worked just for me. Months later, I am just as enthusiastic about my journey, enjoying my family, and call on our coaching conversations when I begin to doubt.

If I were asked what was most significant in my coaching process, it was Sue’s ability to strengthen and define what I already knew deep within myself. She is a true gift

I credit my coaching process with Sue DeCaro as the single most powerful resource that has changed our course as a family and me personally.

I have gained incredible self-awareness and honest introspection about past, present, and what is possible for the future, through my sessions with Sue. I have witnessed and experienced a dramatic change in my relationship with my daughter already by implementing various tools and techniques I have learned through my coaching process.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate my coaching experience with Sue a 10….without question!

My coaching experience with Sue DeCaro brought to life the idea that a small change by one family member can have a positive ripple effect in relationships within a family.

Coaching with Sue allowed me to set meaningful, achievable goals and learn new communication techniques to practice with my family.

My connection with my teenage daughter improved and I no longer felt like I was walking on eggshells around her. In addition, our overall family interactions became more pleasant and positive
